We are planning a trip in october to POR and we have family of 5 and need the trundle bed room...is there a certain building to request to be near transportation?

The rooms that feature trundle beds are located in the Alligator Bayou section of Port Orleans Riverside, Sonia.  And psst...between you and me, that's my favorite section.  I find the rustic charm to be more cozy and welcoming than the stately mansion section.  As for requesting a room that is close to the bus stops, you needn't really worry about that; all the resort rooms are within a five minute walk of transportation.  What you might want to do, though, is request a room that is close to the resort center.  My family enjoyed our stay in lodge 18 a few years ago.  If your priority is the main themed pool, then lodge 27 or 38 might be a better choice, but do keep in mind that those will be further from the food court and lobby.  Enjoy your October stay at Port Orleans Riverside!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
