    We are planning a trip in October but will be leaving home 2 weeks before our disney arrival date. Do you think our magic bands will get to us in time before we leave home?

    I'm so happy to hear you have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon. October is one of my favorite times to visit because of smaller crowds and mild weather, but mostly because of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is absolutely my favorite special event at Walt Disney World. Held on select nights in September and October, it's the perfect party for ALL ages.

    From my experience, MagicBands are typically shipped to Guests about four weeks prior to their Walt Disney World vacation. In fact, my daughter and I will be visiting exactly one month from today, and I received an email this morning to let me know my MagicBands had shipped. If your departure date starts getting close and you still haven't received your bands, I encourage you to call and speak to a Walt Disney World Cast Member at  (407) 939-4357 to make sure they're on the way. Just like I did today, you should receive an email to let you know when your bands have shipped. Don't forget to log into your My Disney Experience account to customize your MagicBands - my daughter always likes to choose her favorite color and put a nickname on her band. At this time, there are eight solid colors to choose from: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, and Gray.
