We are planning a trip in October. This will be a first for the whole family. Are the characters only dressed in their halloween costumes on the designated "halloween" days? We'd like the kids (3&6) to see the regular costumes as well.

    Hello Savannah!

I love visiting Walt Disney World during October. The weather starts to become more mild and the fall and Halloween decorations around Walt Disney World Resort are spooktacular! An extra bonus is all the delicious food at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

Usually the Disney characters are dressed in their Halloween costumes only during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween parties. However, this is subject to change at any time. My kids love to get pictures with the characters in their traditional outfits as well as some in their fun costumes.
