We are planning a trip October 2014. If we book directly on Disney site do you have to pay in full up front or put a deposit down and pay before trip. Is this interest free?

Hi Jennifer!  Great to hear from a CT neighbor! If you book a vacation on Disney's website, only a deposit is required at the time of booking.  You can then make partial payments at any time prior to your vacation.  If you are booking a room-only vacation, then you can pay the remaining balance upon check-in.  However, if you are booking a Disney vacation that includes room, tickets, etc. then the package must be paid in full prior your vacation (you will be given a date on when your package needs to be paid off by at the time of your booking but the date is typically 45 days prior to check-in).

If you need more financing options, you may want to look in to the Disney VISA.  You will be able to finance your vacation for 6 months at 0% interest.  After 6 months and if a balance remains, you would pay your normal interest rate.

I hope your Disney vacation is truly magical!
