We are planning a trip for Oct 2017. We would like to spend 2 days at the MK, and a day at the Animal Kingdom. What is the best type of ticket to buy? Is it really necessary to get fast passes during this time?

    Hello, Lori,

How exciting to be planning a trip to Walt Disney World in October!  Since you are planning on spending 3 days at the theme parks, you could get a 3 day park ticket. If you think you'd like to visit more than one theme park each day, you could add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket for an additional cost.

I would always take advantage of the complimentary FastPass+ to avoid having to wait in the standby line.  By using them, you'll make the most of your 3 days at Walt Disney World.

Since you are visiting in October, did you know about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? It is a separate ticket event and so much fun to go trick or treating at the Magic Kingdom.  I love the memories I have of going there with my family.  Similarly, there is also the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival for an incredible celebration of food!  With all of these extra celebrations for guests, it can actually get busier than you might have expected, so I think you'll be glad you got some FastPass+ selections.

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know. Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
