I am planning a trip in Oct for 6 nights/7days. there will be 2 adults, 3 kids,11,12,15. We want to stay on the property but I am having a hard time finding a reasonable hotel for 5 without booking 2 rooms. Any suggestions.

Hi, Ginger!    Planning a WDW vacation can be so exciting!     With a party of 5, you have to dig a bit deeper to find a room that will accommodate your family.    To stay at an Value Resort, you would need to book a Family Suite at All-Star Music.   This 2 room suite has a 2 full bathrooms, 2 televisions, a kitchenette, a queen size bed, a full size pull-out bed and 2 twin pull-out beds.

If you just want one room, you could book a room at Port Orleans Riverside.   The rooms in the Alligator Bayou section have a trundle bed and can sleep up to 5 guests.    This resort falls in the Moderate Resort Category.   Also in this category is a cabin at Fort Wilderness.   The cabins can sleep up to 6 guests and have a full kitchen but are a bit more expensive.

Check out these options and see if one of these resorts will suit your needs.    Have a fun planning your magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
