We are planning a trip for Oct 21-26, 2010. I would like to take our "mature" 8 year old daughter to the Not so scary Halloween Party. What does the party entail? Is she too old? I know there is an additional charge for it and don't want to waste

Hi, Ann! I just had to snicker at your description of your "mature" 8-year-old daughter...I could just see her arms crossed and her eyes rolling! I have a 13-year-old daughter who enjoyed Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party when she was 11 and had a blast! There were more characters than I've ever seen at the Magic Kingdom, and the guests even get into the act. My daughter dressed up as a 50s girl and loved the dance parties and the impromptu limbo contests with cast members. Although she was too cool to go crazy over the characters, she liked collecting their autographs...and what kid doesn't like candy? There were trick-or-treat stations set up throughout the park. Plus, there's the parade and the chance to experience the MK's most popular attractions with little wait times. Personally, I think MNSSHP is cool enough for any age! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
