Hi! Planning a trip in Oct. or Dec. 2013. I've heard that WDW decorates overnight. Is there a week where we would see both Halloween & Christmas decorations? Trying to decide between both holiday seasons. We've been there for Xmas and it's beautiful!

    Tawn,

I had never thought about it before, but it is likely that if you planned your vacation just right, you could see both Halloween and Christmas decorations. Now, this could always change, but typically, the Halloween decorations are up through the last date of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on October 31st or November 1st. Then, preparations begin to decorate for the holidays in time for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which typically occurs within the first week and a half of November. The dates for 2013 haven't been posted for either party yet, so be sure to check back as the fall draws closer! Keep in mind these parties occur in the Magic Kingdom, so they will for sure be decorated for each of the set of festivities, but the decorations for the hotels and surrounding parks might vary slightly.

I hope this information helps you plan a magically seasonal trip for you and your family.
