    we are planning a trip in Oct for 9 days. Do the restaurants in the park open earlier or stay open later than the park hours? This is our first trip. fam of 4 (boy 7/girl 5). Are there any restaurants you recommend? TY

    Hi Laurie!

    In general, the answer to your question is "yes".  There are some restaurants in the parks that open for an early morning breakfast before the parks open to the guests who just want to see the attractions.  Likewise, guests dining in a restaurant at dinner won't be kicked out of the restaurant just before the park is officially closed. 

    With young children, I recommend considering the following restaurants:
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
    • Sci-Fi Dine In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Coral Reef in Epcot
    • Garden Grill in Epcot
    • Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom
