We are planning a trip in Oct 2011 with 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant. We are trying to go as cheaply as possible by bringing sack lunches with us. Are there picnic tables or something in the parks where we can eat our lunches?

    Hi Christopher!

You have discovered a fantastic way to save money at Walt Disney World!  Very few people realize that you are allowed to bring all of the food that you would like into the theme parks.  Of course, large ice chests are not permitted, but you can pack a great deal into small soft sided ice chests or backpacks.  Just note that you will not be permitted to bring alcohol into the theme parks.

All of the counter service restaurants feature some type of outdoor seating.  Many have umbrellas or shady areas as well.  Have fun!

    Much pixie dust,
