We are planning a trip for November 8th- 18th this year and were planning to stay at the Wilderness Lodge (for the first time!) to enjoy their wonderful Christmas decorations. Do you know when all the decorations will be up at the Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Melanie,

You're in for a real treat! My family and I stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge last November and the Holiday decorations were absolutely incredible. In fact, my wife declared that we should have an annual tradition of staying there during the Holiday season.

It's been my experience that the Holiday decorations start going up all around Walt Disney World during the first week of November. However, since there are sooooo many decorations used each year, the process tends to take a little while. So, if the entire process isn't completed during your visit, it should be pretty darn close to being finished.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

One of the many things I love about Disney's Wilderness Lodge is the background music that's played all around the resort. What's neat about their Holiday decorations is that they also incorporate special background music to enhance the overall feel of the Holiday spirit. So, make sure you find some time to park yourself in front of the fireplace and soak in the wonderful mood that's set from the decorations and the music.

I hope that helps! If you should have any additional questions, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
