Hi Andria. Welcome to planDisney!
Staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, like
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground, has some fantastic benefits that make your visit even more magical. You’ll enjoy being immersed in Disney Magic, taking advantage of
complimentary transportation, and spending more time in the parks!
Fort Wilderness is an excellent choice with its unique charm and immersive experiences. Beyond the extra park hours, you can access fun activities like horseback riding, canoeing, and the beloved
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. The campground offers a rustic yet comfortable stay with plenty of outdoor space and dining options.
Guests at Fort Wilderness Campground can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry but, unfortunately, not
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (unless you're staying in one of the new
DVC Cabins). Early Entry allows you to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before the regular opening time, giving you a head start on your day and the ability to knock out one or two of the more popular attractions before non-Disney Resort Guests. My family loves taking advantage of this time in the parks, so we attempt to arrive 30-45 minutes earlier than Early Entry to be one of the first in the parks. By lunchtime, we have accomplished so much that we are ready to head back to our Disney Resort pool for some R&R before heading back to the Parks in the evening!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question, Andria. If you have any more questions or need more help with your planning,
feel free to ask. I’m here to help make your Disney vacation as memorable as possible!
See you real soon!
