    We are planning our 2nd trip in November. We stayed at Polynesian our first visit and LOVED it. This time Looking at French Quarter and Wilderness lodge. Have a 9 year old boy and 7 year girl... what do you recommend and why?

    I love to hear when a family is returning to Walt Disney World for some more magic!  I am glad you are trying a new resort since there are so many wonderful places to stay.

    My vote is for Port Orleans French Quarter.  It is one of my family's favorites (second only to the Polynesian!)  It is a small resort so it is easy to get around.  But do not be fooled by its size.  This wonderful resort still has a great pool, a boat ride to Downtown Disney, a nice food court, pool side activities, movies under the stars, and even a campfire in the evenings.   My family was just there last week, and my 10 year old son's favorite part was walking down to sister resort Riverside to rent bikes.  What a fun vacation location!

    I also like that there is just one bus stop.  No driving to multiple stops.   If it is a slow time of the day, you may stop at Riverside to pick up their guests, but the majority of the time you will have your own designated bus. 

    I like to book a Standard Room and request building #4 or #3 which puts you close to transportation and the food court.  My kids like a first floor room so they can go outside to run around by the playground or courtyard area.  If you would rather have a water view, you can book that as well and get a lovely view of the Sassagoula River.
