Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are planning a trip in November, when do specials for then usually come out. This will be our first trip. My son will be 7 years old. What is a must do? We are very excited!

    I have a 7-year-old too and just love bringing both my children to Walt Disney World. You will experience the magic through your son's eyes. Have you booked your Resort Hotel yet? I would encourage you to check out the different categories of Resort Hotels online or by speaking with a Cast Member at 407-W-DISNEY. In my experience, I've been able to modify my existing reservation when a new special offer comes out for my travel dates. The benefit in booking your room early is ensuring your preferred hotel choice is still available. If you wait too long, you might not get your top choice.

    In terms of special offers, November specials were released during the summer time in the past few years. I would keep an eye on the special offers page (linked above) during July and August. I will keep my fingers crossed for you "Free Dining" will be offered again!

    Must Do's? So many to list with not enough room! My 7 and 9-year olds love the fireworks, parades, Fantasmic!, New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom, Kilimanjaro Safari in Disney's Animal Kingdom and many more. I would suggest checking out the attractions page online. The page allows you to sort the attractions by height, thrill level, age, etc. I would also encourage you to order a complimentary Disney Vacation Planning DVD to get you even MORE excited for your upcoming trip.
