I am planning a trip for November 3rd-7th 2024. My family has always wanted to see Disney decorated for Christmas. Will the parks be decorated in time for November 3rd? Thanks!

Hi Gwen! The most wonderful time of the year is a great time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth! Not only are the parks decorated beautifully for the season of merriment, but the hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection are just as festive!

Early November is the very earliest that you’ll see Christmas décor begin to adorn the parks and resort hotels. The park where you will certainly find some Christmas decorations by November 3 is Magic Kingdom Park! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party usually concludes on October 31 or November 1. The Halloween decorations begin coming down as soon as the last Guests have left the final party. The amazing Cast Members work all night (usually two) taking down the Halloween decorations and putting up the Christmas decorations in time for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to begin! So, your best bet to see Christmas decorations on November 3, will be at Magic Kingdom Park! I’m pretty sure old St. Nick must send some elves down to help the Cast Members with the decorating!

Typically, the other parks and resort hotels will be decorated by the end of the first week of November or just a few days later. Your best bet to see all the parks decorated, as well as the resort hotels, is to book a vacation around November 10. By then, the Walt Disney World Resort has turned into something of a winter wonderland!

Gwen, it sounds like you might be a big fan of Christmas! If you are, consider checking out the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs! Here you will find a variety of trees that have been themed to some of our favorite parks, attractions, movies, and characters! It is my favorite Christmas activity at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Dreams do come true!
