Jennifer from MD Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Planning a trip for November 2021. One of our party bought a Memory Maker package. She is unable to go on the trip & none of the rest of the group wants the memory maker package, if the trip is still 6 weeks away, can the package be cancelled/refunded?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!

Thank you for stopping by with your very first question. We are thrilled to assist you as you plan a pixie-dusted getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth

The magic is calling Guests to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort, and I am happy to see that you have answered the call! In addition, beginning November 12, we will start celebrating the spirit of the season with festive fun throughout all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort hotels. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as they are constantly releasing the latest Disney Parks news and updates.

I am sorry to hear one of the Guests in your travel party will not be able to join you on your Disney adventure. Please note that Memory Maker is non-refundable, but it can be reassigned to another Guest via My Family & Friends. I highly recommend purchasing Memory Maker to have access to all the digital content captured by Disney PhotoPass during your visit, and what I really like about this product is that you can download all your photos and also those of up to 25 members of Family & Friends list sharing media with you. You will get everyone in the picture as you make magical memories and even enjoy select attraction photos and videos. Disney PhotoPass photographers are strategically located throughout all four theme parks to capture beautiful photos, including the special 50th anniversary celebration Magic Shots opportunities. If you still decide Memory Maker is not for you, your friend is welcome to keep in her Disney account for a future visit.

planDisney tip: As you prepare for your visit, I encourage you to learn more about Disney Genie, launching October 19, and find out how you can create your best day ever at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I hope this information is helpful, Jennifer! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, it will be a pleasure to continue to assist you!

    Best magical wishes,
