Hi Rachel,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
You are correct, the first week for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be the week that you are at Walt Disney World. This is such a fun party - from the gingerbread men and reindeer in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade to snow on Main Street U.S.A., it is a great way to celebrate the holiday season while you are at Walt Disney World! There will be a party on November 11, 14, and 15 during your stay.
Veteran's Day this year is on November 11. When I am looking for predictions of crowd levels at Walt Disney World, I like to visit the unofficial site touringplans.com. For a small yearly fee, you can see crowd level predictions for a year in advance. They are showing that Magic Kingdom will be the least crowded park on Veteran's Day. The other three parks, while predicted to be busier than Magic Kingdom, are also predicted to not be overly crowded. It is possible that Magic Kingdom is predicted to have low crowds on November 11 because there is a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that night, which can mean that guests who are not attending the party avoid Magic Kingdom because it closes early to non-party guests.
I hope that this information helps you in planning your vacation, Rachel! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
