Planning a trip in nov with a 5 yr & 20 mth old Looking into a DV or a DS Would like a pool with a slide & convenient transportation to parks. Possibly interested in renting a boat. We also like the AKV but ?about location. Suggestions?

Hi Cathy!  Three locations come to mind from the things you are hoping to get when visiting Walt Disney World at a resort.  I would suggest you look into the villas at Boardwalk, Beach Club and the new Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary resort.  All have great locations and close to parks.  Boardwalk and Beach Club are short minutes from EPCOT and a nice boat ride to Hollywood Studios.  Bay Lake Towers is accessible to the monorail which brings the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT easy to get to. You can also walk to the Magic Kingdom from this location.

The best pool in my opinion on property is the Yacht and Beach Club Stormalong Bay.  This has a sandy bottom for the little ones to enjoy as if they were at the beach!  All locations have pools with slides.  The Beach Club and Bay Lake Towers are close to the resort marinas making boat rentals easy.  The best place to rent the boats would be at one of the resorts on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake as it provides you with more water to explore versus the areas of the Yacht and Beach Club.

Suites are available for booking at all the resorts. You can check about availability during the time of your vacation.  They are pricey and you end up getting more for your money with a suite location.
