We are planning our trip for Nov 8,9,10 and would like to know is it more economical to buy a pass for the parks Day 1 & 2 in Disneyland California and Day 3 in California Park rather than a hopper pass?

Hi Ken! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Let me recommend that you play around with your options while you're selecting your admission tickets for purchase. You can add tickets, add options, and get all the way to your cart to see what the final price is, while weighing the benefits of your choices. Until you pay for the tickets, you're free to keep going back and changing your options without committing.

Park Hopper is a great option. It's really easy to go from one park to the other, and it gives you a lot of flexibility in your daily plans. It is an additional cost, however. When you purchase a Park Hopper admission type, it's a flat rate, but you pay it once per ticket, and it applies to every day within your visit. So you'll get more value out of Park Hopper over three days, which everyone can appreciate. We like to purchase Park Hopper tickets with Lightning Lane Passes for our quick two to three-day visits. We'll enjoy a park in the morning, have lunch, and then hop to the next, where we have a later dining reservation. Then we might hop back to our starting park to enjoy nighttime entertainment. You can do that!

The fall is a great time to visit the parks. Hopefully, you enjoy beautiful weather, some seasonal treats, and lots of magic. I'd suggest packing layers, since the morning and evening might be slightly cooler. As your visit approaches, keep your eye on the Disney Park Blog. It's the official news source for the parks, so it has the inside scoop on what you can expect during your trip!

    Have a magical day.
