Planning our trip for Nov 2011. Disney calendar says Blizzard Beach is closed for refurbishing--will Disney buses still transport to and from this park to the theme parks? Staying off property, but want dependability of Disney buses to and from the parks.

    Hi Kelley,

Typically, the busses will not go to one of the Water Parks when it is closed for refurbishment.  Once in a while, a bus driver will stop there for special requests for example if you wanted to go to the Winter Summerland mini-golf course, normally guests would take the bus to Blizzard Beach as it is located right next door.  If Blizzard Beach is closed and they don't have regular busses going there during the refurbishment, you can ask your bus driver to make a detour for you during his regular route (sometimes this is possible and sometimes it's not, depending on your driver) or if this is a problem, you can ask at your WDW Resort front desk what options they have available to their guests who wish to go there....they usually have some form of transportation available so all guests can still enjoy these locations. Any important information and bus changes should be posted at your Resort Bus Stop.

There will always be options for transportation to the Theme Parks made available to all guests, so please ask a cast member and they can direct you to your best option from your location.

    Best wishes,
