Planning a trip for DH and I (no kids this trip) for May. Any suggestions for romantic activities that won't kill the budget. We are staying at the Dolphin and already have ADR at LeCellier and California Grill for the fireworks. Thanks for this panel!!

    Hi Lisa,

Congratulations on your upcoming romantic getaway to Disney!  There are many things your hubby and you can enjoy that won't break the bank within steps of your resort.  The Swan and Dolphin share a wonderful location near Disney's BoardWalk, which is the perfect backdrop for a romantic stroll.  In fact, I would recommend timing your diner at Le Cellier so that you can enjoy Illuminations at Epcot together and then take a leisurely walk around the BoardWalk en route back to the Dolphin.  Jellyrolls (the home of famous dueling, and very talented piano players) and Atlantic Dance (both located on the BoardWalk) are two, twenty-one and over night spots where you can enjoy an evening together.

Away from the BoardWalk area, another great idea for a romantic evening is to take a carriage ride together,  A thirty minute ride at Port Orleans Resort is approximately $45 dollars along the Sassagoula River.  I also love the idea of sharing a spin on Cinderella's Golden Carousel under the stars before watching Wishes.  Finally, a stroll through the World Showcase with a glass of wine is an inexpensive, whimsical way to enjoy each other's company.

    Have a wonderful trip!
