I am planning a trip for next year and am trying to decide when would be the best time to visit. We have narrowed down our dates to either Oct or Dec. We want to experience either MNSSHP or MVMCP. Which party offers the best experience?

Hi, Alaina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re so happy you stopped by with your question.

Alaina, I’m going to do my best to help, but I must warn you, there is no easy answer here. Both these experiences are so magical and unique! I don’t know that there is one that is better than the other.

On the one hand, you’ll have an absolutely spooktacular time with all your favorite Disney villains while trick-or-treating at the most magical place on earth during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On the other hand, you can enjoy a white Christmas down Main Street, U.S.A. after the merriest Christmas celebration where you nibbled on Christmas cookies and drank hot cocoa while enjoying the special Christmas parades and fireworks set to the most magical Disney Christmas soundtrack you ever did hear during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Swoon! It’s a toss up!

It really boils down to what your family is more drawn to. Are you more into Halloween or Christmas? Both seasons are really special and extra fun at the Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll find the resorts and parks decked out for each season and ready to celebrate in the most magical way. No matter which one you choose, you will have a magical time that you won’t soon forget!

Wishing you a Spooktacular or Very Merry visit,
