I am planning a trip next year with my multiple allergy son. We have a suite at The Art of Animation hotel. I plan on bringing/having delivered plenty of safe foods so he can eat breakfast/lunch in the room. How big are the mini fridges?

Hi Ruth! I love and understand how proactive you are being. I have a few resources for you as you plan your vacation.

The refrigerators in the suites are typically 4.3 cubit feet; perfect for storing several items but may or may not be able to accommodate everything you have for breakfast and lunch during your length of stay.

Below are a couple of other options:
Bell Services has refrigerators where you can store items. We typically travel with cold food items and they are always able and willing to store our items for us until we are able to get into our Disney Resort hotel room. You can store items for your length of stay.

When you check-in at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, if the refrigerator in your room is not large enough, talk with the Resort Manager and see if a second refrigerator can be brought to your room. While there are no guarantees, because it is a standard amenity and you have special circumstances, they might be able to provide you with a second mini-refrigerator.

Walt Disney World Resort is committed to providing great dining options for Guests with allergies or intolerances. Prior to your vacation and after booking your dining reservations, reach out to Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Let them know what allergies your son has and where you plan to eat. The Special Diets team will help you navigate through the various menu items to help you find the best options to accommodate your son.

Finally, whenever you are dining at Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to let your server or a specially trained Cast Member know what all allergies your son has so the restaurant can accommodate as best they can.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you need any other tips or advice as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
