Hi Jayne and
bienvenue to planDisney.
First of all, let me just say, I cannot think of a more magical place to celebrate a birthday than
Disneyland Paris! My family actually celebrated a couple of my daughters early birthdays there and still to this day, every year, she asks if we can go to Disneyland Paris for her birthday.
Top Tip -
Character Dining is such a brilliant treat for a birthday - you could even order a birthday dessert cake to be brought out for your little one, during the meal.
Jayne, when booking a
Hotel + Ticket package directly with Disneyland Paris, you are prompted to enter the date of birth for all children (3-17 years old) and infants (0-2 years old). By doing this, your booking automatically includes park tickets for all members of your travel party who require them.
If you do a dummy booking on the Disneyland Paris website, you will notice that the cost of your booking will change, depending on whether your little one is classed as an infant, or child and if the date of birth entered does not fall into the infant category, an error message appears
stating "We have identified a infant in your party is in the wrong category. According to the date of birth, a infant will switch to child category based on selected check-in date."
If you do not book a Hotel + Ticket package, you will need to
purchase a park ticket for the child who is turning 3 years old on the first day that you visit a Disney Park.
Children under the age of 3 can enjoy the Disney Parks, free of charge.
Before I go, did you know that 2026 is set to be an exciting year for Disneyland Paris with the highly anticipated
World of Frozen due to open at some point during the year. If you want to be one of the first to know when an opening date is announced, I would highly recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland Paris social media channels on the run up to your trip. Fingers crossed it opens before you arrive as I'm sure that it's going to be nothing short of amazing.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
