We are planning a trip next year and booked the three bedroom connecting suite. I'm super excited and can't wait. Do each of the bedrooms have thier own thermostat? Or is the entire suite on one? Thanks.

Hello Christy, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you will be staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, and in a connecting suite! It will make for a comfortable stay with a good amount of space and that Disney magic we all know and love.

Christy, I called the Disneyland Hotel and spoke with a friendly Cast Member at the Front Desk about the air conditioning and heating in the rooms. I learned that each Guest bedroom, including those in a connecting suite setup, typically has its own thermostat. That means you should be able to control the temperature in each of your three bedrooms separately. The same is true for the connecting suites at the Pixar Place Hotel

As a Disneyland Resort hotel Guest, you'll enjoy wonderful perks. The hotels are conveniently close to the theme parks, making it easy to head back to your room for a midday break. There are activities exclusively for hotel Guests, too, such as complimentary movie nights and hotel tours. Fitness classes can also be booked for an additional fee.

Be sure to leave plenty of time to enjoy the pool area, Christy! My kids and I can spend hours going down the water slide, swimming, and relaxing in the whirlpool spa. And here's a tip: after you check out of your room, you can access the pool area for the rest of the day with your room key. Just leave your luggage with the Bell Desk and keep a bag with either your swimsuits or a change of clothes. It's a nice way to get a little more magic out of your stay before heading home.

You may also want to look into some of the dining options at the Disneyland Resort hotels. There are Character Dining experiences, lounges, quick service restaurants, and more to choose from. If you are interested in dining at a spot that offers reservations, plan to start checking availability around 60 days out.

Christy, I hope this information has sprinkled some pixie dust on your Disneyland Resort vacation plans. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Wishing you magic,
    Kriss
