Hi Lindsey!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your question has me smiling because I celebrated my 30th birthday at Walt Disney World Resort, too! I had my birthday dinner at
California Grill and then watched the fireworks show over
Cinderella Castle right from our table next to the window. It was a magical start to my 30s!
In my opinion, crowds seem to be a little smaller while visiting when kids are still in school. Choosing to visit during the months of September (after Labor Day), October, mid-January or February are all great options. With that being said, any time spent visiting Walt Disney World is the "best" time! Haha! Weather during the months of January and February could vary. I vacationed at Walt Disney World in both January and February of this year. January was a little chilly while the weather in February was picture-perfect! When I've visited during September and October, the temperatures were lovely but it rained just a little. The rain didn't slow down the fun, that's for sure!
Lindsey, I'm so excited for your upcoming birthday extravaganza! It might be cute for all of you to make matching shirts in honor of your big day! You can bring them along and all wear them one day around the theme parks. I think that would be so fun and make for a great picture to commemorate the trip.
I hope you have an amazing time continuing to plan for your 30th birthday!
Beth
