Hi there Heaven!
We at planDisney are grinning from ear to ear that you have an upcoming trip planned to Walt Disney World. My two favorite times to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth are for the fall and leading up to the holidays, so I applaud your decision to time your vacation to experience BOTH!
If you time your vacation for the week of November 12th, that is when the magical transformation from Halloween to Christmas happens. So overlap this date by a few days on either side, and you’ll be sure to experience a spooktacular few days on the front side and the most holly jolly fun afterwards.
Additionally, if trying unique foods is on your bucket list, then you should check out
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival which runs until November 20th this year. The list of
Global Marketplaces and their food offerings is quite impressive. I’m super excited about the new marketplaces being added: Brew-Wing at the Epcot Experience, Lobster Landing, Mac & Eats, Kenya, The Noodle Exchange, Rotunda Bistro, The Swanky Saucy Swine, and Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina.
If holiday food is what you are craving, there are always lots of seasonal treats in the parks during this time. Some of my favorites from last year include Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake at Main Street Bakery, Sleepy Hollow's Santa Mickey Waffle Sundae, and Enchanted Christmas Belle Dessert at Gaston's Tavern. Items are always subject to change for both
autumn and the
holidays, so keep checking back on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates on this year’s seasonal foodie fun.
Now that you've got me in the holiday spirit, I don't want it to end! So please pop back by planDisney for more festive and fun planning together. Heaven, wishing you a magical vacation!
