Hi we are planning a trip next summer to Disneyworld with our immediate family of 6 and also will be traveling with extended family, group of 20 total! Would like to also take a midweek day away from any and all theme parks. ANY suggestions ?

    Hi Robert!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

What a fantastic trip you have planned with your extended family!   Have you considered spending some time at Downtown Disney?  You could spend a leisurely morning at your resort pool, and then head to Downtown Disney, or there is plenty to do for a whole day there.

You could all take a flight on Characters in Flight, a tethered balloon that will give you spectacular 360 degree views of Walt Disney World.

There are shops for everyone's taste, and when you need a break you can visit Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop, where you can pick up an amazing ice-cream sundae or coffee, and enjoy it by the waterside.

See a movie at AMC Downtown Disney 24.

Ensure you make advance dining reservations at one of the many fabulous restaurants - book these online, or by calling (407) 939 3463, up to 180 days ahead of time.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
