I am planning a trip next June with my mom 75, myself 48, my kids 25,24,16 y/o twins and my nephew who is 8. I think we may need a kitchenette or a suite but don't want to spend a fortune just on the room. Adjoining rooms or suite?

    Hello, Angela,

If I did my math correctly, you have 7 people in your party.  If so, there are some great options for you.  My first thought is any of the 2 bedroom deluxe villas.  The 2 bedroom villas sleep 8-9 guests, have at least 2 bathrooms (some even have 3), a full kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer. While these are more costly, you can sometimes find Special Offers to make them more budget-friendly.

Another option is adjoining rooms as they would sleep up to 8 guests. You'd then be able to pick and choose between all of the resorts to find which one best suits your tastes and budget.  However, you won't have a kitchenette in these rooms.

If you know a kitchenette is a must-have, the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort can accommodate up to 6 guests. Family suites include a bedroom with one queen-size bed; one double-size convertible TableBed; one double-size sleeper sofa; living room; 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Then you could book an additional standard room at the same resort for the rest of your party.  While the rooms wouldn't be adjoining, they would still provide you with what you need and at a value resort (which are often more budget-friendly).

If you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip, please let us know. We are happy to help!  -Kara
