Hey Howdy Hey Katie and welcome to planDisney!
How exciting it is to plan your Magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! As summer is winding down, kids are going back to school and the parks transition to the fall, August is a great time to visit the parks. Thank you for stopping by with your question about the fall decore and the Disney Dining Plan expiration timing. You've got a friend in me to give you all of the details on the specifics.
While no one other than Disney knows exactly the date that the parks will officially transition to the next season, there are some things you can keep an eye on that may give you an idea. Disney typically likes to have the fall decore up around the time of
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. Considering the party's started in early August this year, I would keep an eye on those party dates and you may see things change right before the party's start. One thing is for sure, if you plan to visit mid or end of August, you can assume that the decore will most likely be up!
When it comes to extras such as the
Disney Dining Plan, these benefits are applicable starting at midnight on the day you check into your hotel and will expire at midnight on the day you check out of your hotel. If you plan to visit EPCOT on your checkout day, if you have credits left, feel free to use them during your final day. Just make sure you redeem all of your credits before you leave!
Benefits do not stop at dining plan credits for resort Guests. On your checkout day, you also have access to
Bell Services for the day. If you need to store any luggage, you can feel free to drop them off with Bell Services and they will keep and eye on them while you are in the parks.
One last tip I have for you and that is a new
benefit for Guests staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel for 2025. On the day of your check-in, you and your party will have complimentary access to the water parks. It can be a great way to relax and get your vacation started the right way before your busy time in the theme parks!
I hope you are enjoying the process of planning your vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
