Cari from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi, We are planning a trip for New Year's Eve. I want to know if there are any dining packages for that evening with the fireworks show view. If not is there any reserved seating available? I want to watch the fireworks show without the crowding. Thx

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Cari. I'm so glad you stopped by! If you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you've certainly come to the right place. Let's chat!

I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year than at "The Most Magical Place on Earth." Talk about a pixie-dusted start to 2025! You ask a great question, as the theme parks generally are quite crowded for the nighttime spectaculars on New Year's Eve. While no news has been announced about 2024 New Year's Eve celebrations quite yet, I can tell you that in years past, there has been a dining experience available at California Grill (at Disney's Contemporary Resort) that includes an unforgettable meal, champagne toasts, entertainment, and, of course, exclusive views of the fireworks in Magic Kingdom Park.

Aside from the dining experience typically offered at California Grill, a popular option for New Year's Eve is booking Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats and Sweets. This Enchanting Extra includes delectable snacks and desserts, as well as refreshing beverages, including a selection of beer and wine for Guests 21 and older. The very best part? A seat on the patio of Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant with spectacular views of Happily Ever After! As you can imagine, this offering is in hot demand for New Year's Eve and often books to capacity 60-days ahead of time.

My best advice is to keep an eye on the California Grill and Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats and Sweets pages on the Walt Disney World Resort website in the months leading to December. If you want to book one of the offerings we talked about, you'll want to be among the first to do so! I also recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It's your best resource for news and updates about Disney Parks and destinations. If events are scheduled for New Year's Eve, you'll see that news posted on the Disney Parks Blog!

I hope this was helpful, Cari. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
