I am planning a trip with myself and a 5 year old. Do you think there is enough to do at each park for a full day, or should I use a park hopper, and how many days should be plan on? We've been doing 4 days at DLR with success.

Hi Jim - While you can definitely visit the Walt Disney World resort without a park hopper, I always prefer having that option.  Sometimes I like to have a meal, especially dinner, at a different park than the one we've visited for the day (we do this a lot with Epcot).

In addition, you may find that you won't spend an entire day at each park.  We typically spend a half-day at Animal Kingdom, and a day and a half to two days at Hollywood Studios, two days at the Magic Kingdom, and a day to a day and a half at Epcot.

My family visits for six days at a time.  I think that's the perfect amount - although you can always make just about any length stay work.

    Have a great vacation!
