Welcome to planDisney, Jeanette!
Oh, I love touring
Walt Disney World with a large group of family & friends. That just makes everything even more magical!
When we go to WDW, I'm the planner, so purchasing and managing
Lightning Lane passes for everyone is usually my job. As such, I can tell you that managing all of the details is really flexible. You'll love your options! One person can manage all together, some can do it separately, or a mix of both--whatever works for you. Because each Lightning Lane pass is assigned to a specific person, anyone who can make plans for/with that person is able to do just that. So simple!
Once everyone is linked as Family & Friends in their
My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to make plans however you'd like. The easiest way to ensure that the entire group is riding at the same time is to book those experiences all at once. When it's time to make those Lightning Lane plans in the
My Disney Experience app, you just select all who are eligible and interested. Easy peasy.
At the same time, you might find part of the group may opt to split off and try something a little different than the others. While some in the party may brave a thrill ride such as
Expedition Everest, others might prefer the milder
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! No worries. One person can modify for just those in the group who are opting out of facing that Yeti--no matter who originally made the purchase or plans. It's really that simple!
Jeannette, I like to have at least one other person in the group ready to help manage Lightning Lane plans, too. In case I'm using the app to download some outstanding
Memory Maker pics of the party while others want to snag another pass for us, we can easily do so. Just grab a partner who can help and get ready for organizing oh so much fun!
As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
