We are planning a trip with our 6 mth old. What is the best method of transportation from the hotels in Downtown Disney (ex. Port Orleans) to the Magic Kingdom and approximately how long would it take? Also, do most hotels supply cribs if requested? Thanks

    Hello Ashley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You must be very excited to take your little on a Disney adventure. Complimentary Resort Transportation is one of my favorite benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

I suggest using Walt Disney World Bus Service to travel from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Magic Kingdom Park. Service from Disney Resort hotels begins 45 minutes before the parks open, and ends one hour before the parks close. Return service back to your Disney Resort hotel ends 2 hours after the parks close.

Travel times vary, but it should take you approximately 30 to 40 minutes to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park. Please note that strollers must be folded and stowed out of the isle, so keep this in mind when planning which stroller to bring.

In addition, complimentary cribs are available at any Disney Resort hotel. You may request one when making reservations or upon arrival at your hotel. Please note that quantities are limited.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please come back with more questions.

    Best magical wishes,
