Planning trip w/ my mother & DS, 4. Mother arthritis & gets quite sore and worn out from walking all day. Torn between Coronado Spring and Port Orleans French Qtr. Need close to parking lot, like size of PO but heard CS has better beds. Any recomme

My Mother also has to deal with arthritis so I know how exhausting and painful that can be for your dear one!  With that in mind I do recommend Port Orleans French Quarter.

The size of Port Orleans FQ is ideal when you want to avoid too much walking!

And speaking from the experience of staying in many Disney Resorts, for me the mattress quality has varied so much even within the same Resort that it's just not predictable! For example: at most Resorts my family has adjoining rooms with two queen beds in each and I'm not kidding when I say that the mattresses all seem to have a different feel!

My family plays a different kind of Fairy Tale out that evening...Goldilocks looking for the perfect bed! We all hop around until we find the one that we like the best.

I hope that you have a wonderful time in Disney with your Mom and son!
