Hi Melissa,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!
My little guy is almost 3 and he still drinks a ton of whole milk in a day, so I understand your concern. Throughout all of our trips to Walt Disney World Resort, I’ve found that whole milk was readily available at most
table service restaurants. For
counter service restaurants, however, I’ve found it somewhat more difficult to find, although pre-bottled 2% milk was available at most locations. Finally, if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your Resort’s gift shop seems to keep half gallons of milk in the refrigerated sections of the shop. Because your hotel room will have a mini fridge in it, I would definitely recommend purchasing some to keep in your hotel room, especially if your little one likes a bit of milk before her nap.
What I found really useful: I bought my little guy an insulated sippy cup and filled it with whole milk and kept it in our diaper bag beside an ice pack. Although I didn’t mind giving him 2% or 1% milk during the day in order to keep him hydrated as we toured Walt Disney World Resort, I was very happy that he had a cup of his favourite milk to tide him over in case we weren’t able to find any!
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
