Hello... We are planning our trip to MK for the week of APril 20 through April 26. What are your thoughts on this range of dates? Crowd? Weather? Also, thoughts on the bus transfer resorts VS a Monorail Resort s- are monorail resorts less wait time?

    Hi Connie,

I like the range of dates for your vacation. The Easter holiday is over and yet many of the schools across the country are still in session. The weather is perfect with warm temperatures but no humidity. Plus you may be able to see the Home and Garden Show at EPCOT which is always beautiful.

As for the resorts, the monorails are nice if you can afford it. However, if price is an issue, the moderates offer nice accomodations as well. The main difference is size of the rooms and ease of access to the four main parks.

However, if you have a stroller or you need to be back daily for naps, you may consider a monorail hotel because it will allow you to keep your children in the stroller without having to collapse it for a bus.

Another alternative is the resorts in the EPCOT area such as the Boardwalk or Yacht and Beach Club. These both offer you easy access to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios via boat launch. The Swan and Dolphin are located here as well and if you have points with the Sheraton, use could use points for your stay. However, the Swan and the Dolphin do not have a Disney feel; they are very business like.

    Have a great trip!
