We are planning a trip to MK in June, staying at All Star Sports. There are 7 in our group, 3 adults and 4 kids, ages 9, 6, 3, 17 months, so we will have 2 strollers. My question is, would you recommend taking the shuttle or using AAA Diamond Parking Pass?

    Hi Stacia!

I always prefer to drive myself, especially when traveling with my double stroller.  The Magic Kingdom parking situation is a little different than the other parks in that you have to park first and then take a monorail or the ferry boat over to the Magic Kingdom.  The good news is that the AAA Diamond Lot is a short walk to the monorail station and ferry boat dock AND you don't have to fold up strollers to take either one of them over the the front gates.  The AAA Diamond Lot does have a limited number of spots available, so you will be taking a slight risk that you can grab one of the spots.  I have only been turned away one time, but I was visiting later in the morning after the lot had filled up.

If you choose to take Disney transportation, you will need to fold up your strollers before boarding the bus., but you will be dropped off near the front gates of the Magic Kingdom and will not have to transfer to another mode of transportation.

With all of that said, we would still choose to drive ourselves and park.

    Have a magical day!
