We are planning a trip in mid May with my (will be)4 1/2 and 2 1/2 yr.olds. Would you reccomend the Polynesian or the Grande Floridian? It will be our first time to Disney Worlsd as a family and cannot decide between the two.

Hi Michele - I was at Walt Disney World in May with my then 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year olds, and we stayed at the Polynesian.   I'd highly recommend that you stay there if you can.  While the Grand Floridian is wonderful, I find that the Polynesian is more family-friendly, and my kids loved the theme and grounds.  In addition, two of the best meals we had were at 'Ohana - both breakfast and dinner.  The transportation at the Polynesian is also extremely convenient, because it's easy to walk to the ticket and transportation center.

    Have a great vacation!
