Hi. We are planning a trip in May 2015 with two 5 year old's. We stayed at Art of Animation last visit but were considering Animal Kingdom this trip. We loved AOA but have heard great things about AKL. What do you recommend?

    Hi Danielle!

Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Walt Disney World resorts.  My son was 5 the last time we stayed there and he loved every minute of it.  Just walking into the lobby of the resort gives me the warm and fuzzies.  My kids love watching the animals roam around in the Savannah whether it be in a room with a Savannah view or in the common areas.  There are some great resort activities at Animal Kingdom Lodge as well that you can't experience at any other resort.

I do also have a love for the Art of Animation Resort.  It is a totally different vibe.  I love that this resort has so much going on with actual Disney characters.  My kids have a blast walking around and taking pictures with the larger than life characters.  We take the resort pools into consideration when choosing a Walt Disney World Resort and The Big Blue Pool certainly does not disappoint.

I suggest trying a new resort this time.  Part of a Walt Disney World vacation are the amazing resorts, so it's always a great idea to change it up a bit.  I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

    Have a magical day!
