We are planning a trip in may I have a two year old boy and a seven year old girl, can you tell us a what would be the best character dining?

Hi Julie!  Disney has so many wonderful character dining opportunities and you really can't go wrong with any of them.  The classic one with all the major characters is Chef Mickey which is my favorite.  Here you will meet Mickey himself and he is often joined by Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald!

If your children enjoy Winnie the Pooh then the Crystal Palace is a great stop while in the Magic Kingdom.  Noticing that you have a seven year old who I am sure is the dear little princess of the family then I would strongly suggest you try to capture a spot at one of the great princess meals, Cinderella's Royal Table or the Akershus princess gathering at the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT.

For JoJo's Circus and Einstein fans you can stop in at Hollywood and Vine at the Hollywood Studios and meet your favorite characters from those two shows.  Donald Duck is the leading man at his breakfast, Donald's Safari, at Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom park.

There are many more and all are wonderful.  It might work best to work one in during a day in the parks or pick one specifically in a resort to make a special event out of it.  Please click HERE, go to the bottom left and click on DINING EXPERIENCES, and then click on CHARACTER DINING to see the description of each one to help you decide.  Please don't forget that you can reserve these 90 days out from your arrival date and they do book up quickly.  Call 407-939-3463 for reservations.
