Planning a trip from May 3 to 17 or 18. The only way to stay at the All Star Movies the entire stay is to do 3 separate reservations May3-8, 8-12 and 12-18. How much do we have to pay at booking and is it fully refundable? Also will we have to move rooms?

    Hi Chantal!

Welcome back to planDisney! I know you’ve been thinking about this vacation for a while now, so let’s work on changing it from “once upon a dream” to bibbidi bobbidi booked!

If you are booking a room-only reservation, you will pay a deposit equal to one night’s stay per reservation.  You will pay the remainder of your balance when you check-in. For room-only reservations, cancellations must be made at least 8 days prior to your arrival in order to receive a refund of your deposit.

If you are booking a room and ticket package 31 days or more before your arrival, the deposit is currently $200 per reservation. Payment in full is due 30 days before your arrival. If you make your reservation 30 days or less before your arrival, payment is due in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel the room and ticket package, you must cancel 30 days or more before your arrival to receive a full refund. If you cancel 2 to 29 days before you arrive, any amount paid, minus a $200 cancellation fee, will be refunded. If you cancel 1 day or less in advance, the full price of the package is non-refundable.

Now, once you book, I recommend calling the number listed under “Disney Resort Hotel Reservations” so a Cast Member can make a note that you have multiple reservations at the same resort. I also suggest you mention it to a Cast Member at the Front Desk when you check-in. It is not guaranteed that you will remain in the same room for all of your reservations, but the Cast Members will try to accommodate you.

I hope this was helpful, Chantal! You’ve still got some time to book your vacation for the dates you want, but keep those booking and cancellation dates in mind. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us at planDisney!
