    We are planning a trip in May and have small children. Are we able to bring our strollers in the park or do we have to rent them. Also, for the water parks do we need to make reservations?

    Hi, there!

     Kayla, I'm so thrilled to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. And with little ones in tow! You are sure to make lots of magical memories together as a family. 

     As a mom of three, a stroller is an absolute must-have for my family's Disney vacations. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and those little legs tire quickly! Strollers are available to rent at each of the four theme parks and Disney Springs, but you are most welcome to bring your personal stroller from home. Just be sure that your stroller is no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. I've been taking our City Mini Double stroller to the Walt Disney World Resort for years now, and I've found it to be perfect for my family's adventure-filled days in the theme parks. I love that the shades are extra-large and that the seats recline completely flat so my toddler can take a quick snooze in the shade if she gets sleepy. I also love how quickly and easily it folds up! This makes it super convenient to travel with on the bus between our Disney Resort hotel and the theme parks.  

     If you choose to take your own stroller with you, I recommend attaching something to it to help you find it. You'll be parking your stroller among a sea of others in the theme parks, so you'll want it to stand out! I always attach Mickey Mouse ribbons to the handlebar to make our stroller easy to spot. I've seen other Guests use luggage tags, nameplates, balloons, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!

     Isn't the news that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is reopening exciting? You ask a great question about park reservations. At this time, reopening procedures have not been announced for Disney's Water Parks. You can be sure that specific plans for the reopening of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park will be announced before your visit in May. I recommend keeping an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for news and updates!
