Hey Howdy Hey Kristin and welcome to planDisney!
One of the best parts about dining in Walt Disney World Resort is the lengths the culinary staff will go to in order to make your dining experience as Magical as possible. One great thing about what they can do is to modify what is currently on the menu to your special dining needs but there are limitations to what they can do.
One rule of thumb when looking over a menu for any of the dining locations is that they can usually modify what they have on the menu, but rarely are they able to get something completely different off the menu. So to your question in
Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, as
per their menu, they do have a dish with chicken in it that they may be able to modify for your children to better suit their appetites but may not be able to specifically make chicken fingers as you would get at another location.
Of course, I have heard many times of Magical Moments where things just "happen" to be in the kitchen and they can make something like chicken fingers for specific guests that ask, but should not be an expectation.
I hope this is not discouraging for you to consider Tusker House because it is a great meal and atmosphere that I am sure you would love. I would also be encouraged by the creativity of the culinary staff in Walt Disney World as I am sure if you ask that a dish be modified more for your children, they will go to great lengths to do what they can for you.
I hope you enjoy your final weeks of preparation for your upcoming trip in May and let us know if you have any further questions!
Happy planning,
Nick
