We are planning trip may 19 - 25, 2014. We will have 11 month old, 19 years, mom and dad. Would like 2 days at mk. Could you suggest itinerary for which parks on which days? Will not take advantage of Early extra magic hours.

Hi Vicky, welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

May is one of my favorite's months to visit Walt Disney World - good weather, moderate crowds and great special events.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is an awesome family event, offering fresh meals and snacks, beautiful topiaries and fun play areas.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Disney's Hollywood Studios will feature Star Wars Weekends.

Dates for these events are still not available for 2014, but I suggest visiting both events if you have the opportunity.

I recommend booking advance dining reservations, before deciding on a final itinerary.  Having a 1 or 2 hour meal inside or close to the parks is a great way to relax before heading back to the crowds.

Disney park hours and crowd levels for your visit look the same during the week, with the last two days pretty crowded.  Use these last 2 days to revisit a park or enjoy your resort amenities.

Early park hours (without extra magic hours) and late park hours (especially really late) usually feature the lowest crowds on any day at any theme park.  Midday naps help making the most of these hours.

Magic Kingdom can be visited 2 or 3 times before revisiting any other park.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
