Planning a trip May 26-June 2, how busy is it this time of the year?

Hi, Patricia!  While you shouldn't be overwhelmed by the crowds, Monday of that week is Memorial Day, and there are quite a few schools - especially colleges - that are already out of school for the summer, so you will see some crowds, some longer lines.  Thank goodness for Fast Pass!

You should be able to enjoy the things you want to see and do with a little bit of planning.  Use the extra magic hours in the morning, and if you have a park hopper option, move to a different park as the day wears on and the crowds get thicker.  Use the Fast Pass option where you can to bypass the attractions with longer lines.  Plan to have your meals during off peak hours.  Mom's Panel Mom Diane C. has a great recommendation to eat two meals - a larger brunch type meal early in the day and then dinner, with snacks in between.  That would allow you to eat lunch at around 11, when the crowds won't be so bad, and then you can have a later than normal dinner.

My family starts at the attractions that are likely to be busy - so at Disney's Hollywood Studios, we head right to Toy Story Midway Mania; at the Magic Kingdom, we start with Splash Mountain.  These things get busier as the parks get busier, so by doing them first, we know if the lines are too long later, at least we've enjoyed them!

Have fun on your upcoming trip!
