Welcome to planDisney, Susan!
Early May is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I enjoyed an early May trip this year and I absolutely loved it. The weather was "practically perfect in every way" and I was able to experience the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The gorgeous
topiary displays and delicious
outdoor kitchens are worth the price of admission alone.
It's great that you'd like to visit each of the four theme parks during your visit. Each park is magical in its own way. The kids are going to have the time of their lives.
Susan, I like your idea of having a rest day in between your theme park days. That's how we like to roll. The little Mousketeers need that break (and so do the adults, to be fair). At this time, a four-day ticket will expire 7 days after the selected start date. In other words, your ticket is valid for admission on any 4 days within a 7-day window. Therefore, if you use your first day on May 1, your ticket will expire on May 8. Your trip could look like this:
May 1 - Magic Kingdom Park (I always start here)
May 2 - Rest day
May 3 - EPCOT
May 4 - Rest day
May 5 - Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
May 6 - Rest Day
May 7 - Disney's Hollywood Studios
May 8 onwards - wishing you were back at the Disney theme parks.
So hopefully that puts you at ease. I trust you'll have a fantastic time. Please stop by planDisney again if you have any questions.
See ya real soon, Susan!
Mike
