We are planning a trip May 2020 and have 13 in our family group. 10 adults and 3 children 8 and under. What is the best family hotel in Disney World that will give us monorail access to all the parks? Thank you.

Hi, Maryann!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When choosing a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you have lots of amazing options!  There are so many benefits to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, so I know you will be happy with whichever one you choose.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort all have access to the monorail transportation system. You can take the monorail directly to Magic Kingdom Park from any of these three resort hotels.  If you wish to travel to Epcot, you can transfer to another monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center.  While the monorail does not travel to the other parks, I think you will find that the bus transportation to those parks is quite convenient as well.

While the three monorail resorts are among my personal favorites, I think that you will find there are many Walt Disney World Resort Hotel options that are practically perfect in every way for larger families.  Be sure to check out all of the Deluxe Villas that are made to accommodate large groups.  The family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are also big fun for big travel parties.

Enjoy planning your magical vacation!  See ya real soon!
