I am planning a trip May 25-28. My daughter is in Disney vacation club and has reservations at Saratoga Springs on those days. I would like to purchase 3 day tickets for 3 grandchildren graduating from high school. Can we use military discount

    Hi Linda!

Welcome to planDisney.  How exciting that three of your grandchildren are graduating this year! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a Walt Disney World Resort vacation –– in fact, it's my family's favorite way to celebrate big milestones, too!  It sounds like lots of magic is in store for you and your family this spring!

Theme park admission is such a thoughtful gift for your grandchildren –– I'm happy to share the details of the special ticket offer just for US Military Eligible Service Members to help you see if these tickets are right for you and your family.  The Disney Military Salute Ticket is a discounted ticket promotion on 4-Day and 5-Day Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets, available to active or retired members of the US Military, as well as Spouses of Military Services Members who are able to present a valid and active US Military ID.  These tickets can be purchased at US Military Bases or by visiting the Shades of Green website.

There are also a few regulations with these tickets that I'd also like to share with you, Linda.  Disney Military Salute tickets have a purchase limit of six per year and one of those tickets must be used by the Eligible Service Member or their spouse.  While the remaining five tickets may be used by anyone you choose, you'll want to note that the Eligible Service Member (or spouse) must present their US Military ID to activate the tickets at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window.  I hope this helps you decide if these are the right tickets for your upcoming vacation!

Before your family arrives in May, you'll also want to remind your daughter to download her new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card, which will replace her physical Card that expired on December 31, 2021.  All she needs to do is sign in to the My Disney Experience mobile app using the Disney Account that is linked to her DVC Membership. There, she'll be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass which will act as her new Membership Card, saved directly to the mobile wallet on her smartphone.  With easy access to Member Benefits and Extras right at your fingertips, it's like having your very own Membership magic wand!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, Linda!  I can't wait for you and your family to enjoy a pixie-dusted graduation celebration during your upcoming visit!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
