We are planning our trip in May to coincide with my oldest daughters school trip. We will be taking our 9yr old daughter and 5yr old son. We are staying in the Royal Guest Room. Any suggestions to make extra special for our 9yr old birthday?

There are so many great ways to make your daughter's 9th birthday even more special. You must start your day at the Magic Kingdom. Head on over to City Hall for the little princess to receive her personalized birthday celebration pin! From there head on over and get her a pair of the 'it's my birthday' Mickey Mouse ears to complete the outfit. It is so cool to hear both cast members and park guests wishing her birthday cheer all day and night! If you want to enhance the enjoyment try treating her to a lovely character meal with some of her favorite Disney characters. If she enjoys the company of royalty then I would suggest a lovely lunch or dinner Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Here in a medieval castle, part of the Norway Pavilion within Epcot theme park World Showcase the birthday girl can spend some quality time with the like of Alice, Aurora and Belle, just to name a few that will come over and delight you while you all nosh on a lovely Norwegian themed lunch and dinner. If that is not her style then perhaps some fun in Downtown Disney. She might want to experience DisneyQuest. This indoor interactive theme park is a one-of-a-kind gaming experience in the Downtown Disney area. With 5 floors filled with the coolest video games and state of the art Disney technology, this is a fun place to hang out. I hope these ideas help you make this the best vacation ever. I will see you at the parks.
